Police officers applaud those making a difference

Wrexham’s police officers divided themselves between different locations tonight to Clap for Carers.

In previous weeks, officers have applauded NHS staff at the Maelor Hospital.

This evening, they visited a hospice, care home and the Salvation Army to show their appreciation for the tremendous work being done in Wrexham during these difficult times.

Officers attended Nightingale House, Bay Tree care home, and the Salvation Army centre in Garden Road.

Wrexham Town Police tweeted: “Thank you Nightingale House for your hard work as ever during this incredibly hard time #clapforcarers

And: “Wrexham Town Rota 4 attended Bay Tree care home to thank staff who are staying at the location to look after residents to help keep them safe.”

And: “Officers from Wrexham Town have joined the nation at 8pm & thanked key workers. NPT officers attended @salvationarmyuk & thanked them for their tremendous work during this unprecedented time.”
