Lottery Administrator (Part Time)

Salary: £18,389 FTE depending on experience

Nightingale House Hospice is looking for a Lottery Administrator to join their lottery team. This role is responsible for maintaining the lottery data base and regular payments from customers enabling the Nightingale House Lottery to run the weekly draw. We are looking at new ways to develop our lottery, this role provides a great opportunity for someone wishing to make an impact and be part of this process.

The main aim is to maintain and increase the number of lottery players which as a result will increase lottery income. The role will be required to work within a supporter focused fundraising environment and will involve completing relevant spreadsheets, the processing of direct debits, standing orders and other payments and as part of the team, developing relationships with the public and local businesses to increase membership to the lottery.
We are ideally looking for a professional with at least two years’ experience in banking, an accounts setting, office or similar. Above all, the role requires someone with a proven track record of achieving financial targets.

Ideally the successful candidate should have;
• Experience with computer and IT skill such as MS Office and MS Excel.
• Experience working towards financial targets and deadlines
• The ability to empathise and build excellent relationships
• Excellent verbal, numerical and listening skills

• Understanding of administration and data bases
• Attention to detail
• Excellent telephone manner
• To adhere to Lottery policies and procedures
• Develop relationships with local organisations to increase lottery membership

About the Nightingale House Lottery – the weekly lottery is a vital income stream and contributes over £500,000 every single year to patient care. The top prize is £2,500 and we have between 15,500 and 16,000 entries into the draw every single week.

We provide care across a wide stretching area from Wrexham, Flintshire and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.
