Are you tech savvy? Know your way around eBay? Have a keen eye for the unusual or sought-after collectables? Then we have just the volunteering role for you!

Role Overview

Nightingale House Hospice has just launched their own eBay selling page and urgently need volunteers to help make it a success!

As part of this role you will:

  • Identify collectable or on-trend items
  • Research the value of potential items
  • Create listings i.e. taking photographs and writing descriptions
  • Help to package the sold items ready for posting

Desirable skills and attributes:

  • Experience on how to use eBay as a seller or customer
  • Basic IT skills
  • Basic photography skills phone or digital camera
  • Positive with a professional attitude
  • Pleasant and approachable with a friendly personality
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Conscientious and committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Willing to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Reliable

Essential Information

  • You must be at least 16 years of age
  • Be able to supply two character references
  • This role is subject to a basic level Disclosure Barring Services Check
