Wrexham Lantern Parade
18 November @ 16:00 - 17:30
£6
Join us for a magical walk through Wrexham on Saturday 18th November to show support for patient care at Nightingale House Hospice. The sponsored lantern walk will illuminate the city centre with the Christmas lights being switched on as the parade passes through each street. All ages welcome to join this completely accessible route (see map at bottom of the page).
Registration is £6 per child (accompanying adults go free) for which you will receive a customisable paper lantern and battery tea light.
There will be stalls and fairground rides in Queen’s Square and the walk will begin after a festive carol service at 4pm. The walk will proceed through pedestrianised streets ending in Eagles Meadow where there will be further entertainment into the evening.
Come in your most festive attire, Christmas jumpers and tinsel; why not even decorate your pram with fairy lights!
We hope that everyone taking part will raise as much sponsorship as possible to fund the vital support that Nightingale House Hospice provides for families during their time of need.
And those that raise over £25 in sponsorship to be entered a prize draw to win a voucher for Eagles Meadow shopping centre, which includes 3 months car parking, 4 Odeon tickets and 2 games of bowling for up to 6 people!
