Support Group

Since the hospice was founded some 20 years ago we have always been able to depend on the loyal support of our Support Groups.

What is a Support Group?   A support group is a network of local people who work together to help the hospice. They organise fundraising events, arrange street collections in their local area and, often, they will represent Nightingale Housee in their local community.  Our support groups raise over £35,000 each year and make a positive financial contribution to our fundraising efforts

We have support groups in the following areas:

  • Mold and District
  • Buckley – currently looking for new members
  • Lavister
  • Rhos Hospice Shop
  • Llangollen
  • Corwen
  • Rhos Support Group
  • Coed y Glyn
  • Hanmer
  • Leeswood – currently looking for new members
Is there a Group in your area? If not, you could form a small group with some friends and organise a number of small events or campaigns on a regular basis. If you would like more information about setting up your own local support group please contact our Fundraising team on 01978 314 292
