Hospice Care Fund – Help us to keep caring

3 March @ 08:00 - 31 July @ 17:00

Every day, people in our community turn to Nightingale House Hospice during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. They come to us looking for comfort, reassurance, expert care and hope.

Thanks to your support of the Hospice Care Fund, we can ensure that personalised, expert hospice care is available to everyone in our community who needs it.

Angie Jones - Patient at Nightingale House HospiceI found strength, support and hope when I needed it most.” – Angie’s Story

When Angie first heard the word hospice, she was afraid. Like many people, she thought hospice care was only for the very end of life. But when she was referred to Nightingale House in 2021, everything changed.

After her cancer diagnosis, Angie was living with severe back pain and struggling to walk. She felt anxious and overwhelmed. Yet from the moment she arrived, she was met with kindness, patience and understanding.

Through physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, complementary therapies, art therapy and our Wellbeing Programme, Angie found more than physical support. She found a safe space, somewhere she could talk openly, feel understood, and regain her confidence.

Today, I think of Nightingale House as my safety net… a place that helps you live as well as you can, for as long as you can.” Angie – Patient at Nightingale House Hospice

Because of people like you, patients like Angie receive the holistic, life‑enhancing care they deserve.
