New hospice catering venture brings great food and greater impact to local businesses and families

Nightingale House has launched a brand new catering service, giving local businesses, families and communities a delicious new way to support hospice care.

Cwtch Catering will provide high quality catering for everything from business meetings and corporate events to birthday parties, family celebrations, community events and funeral gatherings, with all profits helping Nightingale House Hospice provide specialist care and support for local patients and their families.

The new service is a natural extension of Nightingale House’s popular 5-star rated Caffi Cwtch, building on its excellent local reputation for quality food and a warm, friendly welcome. Cwtch Catering will bring that same Cwtch experience beyond the café, with fresh, locally sourced food prepared by the much loved Cwtch team.

With the message ‘Great food. Meaningful impact’, Cwtch Catering offers all the quality and convenience customers would expect from a professional catering service, with the added benefit that every booking helps support local hospice care.

Laura Parry, Commercial Director at Nightingale House Hospice said:

“We’re incredibly excited to launch Cwtch Catering and take everything people have come to know and love about Caffi Cwtch out into our local community.

“Caffi Cwtch has developed a fantastic reputation for great food and a warm welcome, and Cwtch Catering gives us the opportunity to offer that same quality and service for everything from workplace lunches and meetings to parties and family celebrations.

“What makes it even more special is that every booking has a purpose. When you choose Cwtch Catering, you’re not only choosing delicious, freshly prepared food from a team you can trust, the profits from your order will help Nightingale House continue providing specialist care and support for local patients and families.”

Cwtch Catering offers a range of flexible menus and packages, making it easy to cater for occasions of all sizes while supporting a cause at the heart of the community.

The launch is part of Nightingale House Hospice’s ongoing work to develop sustainable new ways of generating income to support its services.

It currently costs more than £5.6 million each year to run Nightingale House Hospice, with only around 20% of its funding coming from statutory sources. The hospice therefore relies heavily on the generosity and support of the communities it serves.

Cwtch Catering is now taking enquiries for corporate catering, meetings, celebrations, parties and special occasions. To find out visit bit.ly/cwtchcatering, email cafficwtch@nightingalehouse.co.uk or call 01978 447550.
