Accessing the Wellbeing Centre:

Referrals to the Wellbeing Centre are followed by an initial appointment arranged at a convenient time. Before attending, patients receive an appointment letter and a brief questionnaire to help the team understand individual needs and priorities.

During the first appointment, staff carry out a thorough assessment, considering symptoms, emotional wellbeing, and daily living needs. Based on this assessment, a personalised plan is developed to make the most of the services and therapies available. Progress is monitored and reviewed regularly to ensure the support provided remains appropriate and effective.

What is the Wellbeing Programme?

The Nightingale House Wellbeing Programme offers a 12-week programme of care that can help patients address symptom control and support their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Our specialist multidisciplinary team have designed a series of talks and workshops to support patients with their condition.

Many people attending the Wellbeing Programme say that the opportunity to meet and talk to others who are in a similar situation is extremely beneficial.
