Family support

Helping you through loss

Losing someone you love is a deeply personal journey, and everyone’s experience of grief is different. At Nightingale House Hospice, our Family Support Team offers compassionate care, guidance, and a safe, supportive space to help you through this difficult time.

We recognise that bereavement brings many emotions and challenges, which is why our support is tailored for both adults and children.

How we can support you:

  • One-to-One & Group Support – Choose between individual counselling or the comfort of sharing experiences in a group setting.

  • Support for Children & Young People – Specialist sessions designed to help children understand and express their feelings in a way that works for them.

  • Practical Guidance – Advice and assistance with paperwork, financial concerns, and planning for the future.

  • Legacy & Memory Making – Opportunities to create keepsakes and meaningful tributes to honour the memory of your loved one.

You don’t have to go through this alone, our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Who can access our family support services?
