Rehabilitation

Helping people to try and achieve their goals

Rehabilitation can support patients in many ways, from managing day to day activities and improving mobility, to building strength, boosting mental wellbeing, and encouraging independence to enhance quality of life.

Our Rehabilitation Team works closely with patients to help them live as independently as possible and continue enjoying the activities that matter most to them.

Some people may be recovering from the side effects of treatment, while others are adjusting to a lasting change in their abilities. Our specialist physiotherapists use their expertise to ease symptoms such as pain and weakness, as well as offer guidance and equipment to help patients adapt confidently to their situation.

Our goal is to help patients live as independently and comfortably as possible.

Our rehabilitation services include:

  • Hydrotherapy – Warm water supports movement, making it easier for patients with mobility challenges to exercise and progress.

  • Specialist therapy – Expert support tailored to your needs.

  • Exercise programmes – Designed to improve strength and mobility.

  • Breathlessness & fatigue management – Techniques to help you conserve energy and feel more in control.

  • Relaxation & acupuncture – Supporting overall wellbeing and pain relief.

  • Pain management – Helping you stay as comfortable as possible.

  • Manual handling advice – Guidance on safe movement for both patients and carers.

“Physiotherapy is treatment using physical means such as exercise, acupuncture and therapy techniques. We use physiotherapy to restore, maintain and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, wellbeing and to maintain their quality of life.”
