Ready for a reading adventure? We are encouraging schools to join our Spring Read-a-thon.
Your pupils can support Nightingale House Hospice simply by enjoying books!
How it works
Children are encouraged to read every day for two weeks, at a time that works for your school, during the Spring term.
Every time they complete their reading, they will record it by colouring in a book on the tracker we provide. Meaning they can watch their progress grow day by day!
Participation is flexible, inclusive, and suitable for all reading levels. The challenge aims to promote independent reading habits and confidence building.
Why your reading matters
By taking part, your school is helping Nightingale House care for people in our community including families who are going through really tough times.
Together, we can make a difference for local families.
