Join us at Alderford Lake on Friday 1st January 2027 for an invigorating cold-water dip. This is a great opportunity to do something incredible whilst raising vital funds for local hospice care. We strongly recommend that you do have some experience in cold water prior to this event, and do a little “acclimatisation” before! This is the perfect way to kick-start the year while making a difference.

Timings: On the day event registration will open at 10am and the group dip will be at 11am

Participants should be confident in the water and have acclimatised to cold water prior to the event.

Yes. The event will be professionally supervised, with qualified lifeguards and first aid support on site.

Yes, changing facilities will be available for participants.
Can spectators attend?
Absolutely. Friends and family are welcome to come along and support you. Please note that Alderford Lake admission charges apply.
Can I bring my dog?
