Stockroom Superstar

Our Nightingales charity shops are the lifeblood of the local community and the catalyst to successful fundraising. Our shops provide much-needed funds so that the hospice can continue to provide free specialist care to our patients who are living with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer.

We are looking for keen volunteers to support our shops behind the scenes, sorting donations, getting things ready for re-sale and making sure the shop is kept stocked and ready for our customers.

This post key responsibilities include sorting each donated bag into goods for re sale and recycling, preparing clothes, bric a brac and electrical items for the shop floor, using appropriate merchandising standards (correct hangers and tickets), pricing items in accordance with the hospice guidelines.

Previous experience in retail is desirable but not essential.

We welcome applications from residents in or near the following locations:
Wrexham, Oswestry, Buckley, Mold, Whitchurch, Borras, Rhos, Cefn and Ellesmere.
