LOCK UP YOUR BOSS

21 May

Are you willing to be ‘Locked Up’ for charity?

WANTED… We are on the lookout for members of our community to be “locked up” to raise funds for patient care and family support services at Nightingale House.

Taking place on Friday 21st May 2021, this unique fundraiser can work for businesses or members of the community who are up for a challenge!

Work on your own or as part of a team to raise the “bail” funds required to be released!

There are three fundraising targets to choose from. The nominated individual will choose which challenge that they will take on and must call around their key contacts throughout the day to raise the funds in time! If their fundraising target has not been met by 4pm on Friday 21st May it is up to the company or nominated individual to “bail out the boss.”

To encourage supporters to raise as much money for the hospice as possible, incentives have been added to each challenge. The individual that raises the most money will also be named our “Lock Up Your Boss 2021” Champion and will feature in our September newsletter, received by over 15,000 (on average) of our supporters, and will also receive the ‘Lock Up Your Boss’ Trophy.

How to get involved:
If you would like more information on how to get involved or would like to nominate a colleague that you think would be perfect for this challenge, please email sam.amis@nightingalehouse.co.uk or call the fundraising team on 01978 314292.

Disclaimer:
Please note the nominated individual will not physically be locked up. They will be permitted to leave for toilet breaks and refreshments. NHH will provide ‘DO NOT ENTER’ tape for doors and plastic handcuffs will be provided for the boss to wear if they are willing to. We hope these extra additions will add to the fun of the day. Participants can begin raising money before the event date if they wish to, giving them a head start on the event date. Once the participant has reached their fundraising goal, they are welcome to continue fundraising throughout the day if they wish to.
