An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Area Fundraiser to join our fundraising team. You will need to be a team player but also be able to use your own initiative to expand this exciting role.
The varied role will include organising hospice fundraising events such as cycle rides, fairs and sponsored walks, helping our community supporters generate significant income as well as raising our charity profile in schools and community groups. You will also be responsible for working with and developing relationships with local businesses, both large and small. There will be a requirement to travel around the hospice’s catchment area and therefore a full, clean driving licence is required. Candidate will also be expected to work some evenings and weekends.
You will need good communication skills, be a confident speaker and have some experience of organising events and/or corporate account management. You will need to have a minimum of two years experience as a Fundraiser.
