Woofs and Wellies Wrexham Dog Walk returns

Woofs and Wellies Wrexham Dog Walk returns and it’s all about the dogs!

Bring your four legged friends to walkies for Nightingale House!

Woofs & Wellies Sponsored Dog Walk is a fun filled, family event, in a month the weather is warming up and spring is in the air. Sign up your furry friends now! You can bring as many friends and family members as possible to support them.

The walk starts from the Gwersyllt side of Alyn Waters Country Park, and once registered everyone will start walking together at 11am. All the walkers for Nightingale House Hospice will be identified by the bandana given to all of the dogs. Along the route there is a choosing point – carry on to complete a 5km walk over to the Llay side or choose the 3km route which heads straight back to the cafe where goody bags and bowls of water await the dogs and hot chocolate all round for the humans. Of course they will still be waiting for those who choose the longer route.

If it does happen to be a muddy day, or your dog found the puddle or river too enticing to resist, there is a paw wash to rinse off the dirt before getting back into the car.
