TRIBUTE FUNDS

At Nightingale House Hospice, we know that dealing with a loss can be very difficult, particularly on an anniversary, at Christmas and on other landmark occasions. Everybody finds their own way, and everyone will know what is best for them.

Usually, family members and friends of the deceased want to do something positive and lasting in celebration of their loved one’s life.

Setting up a Tribute Fund could not be easier. The Fund will be named after your loved one; and family, friends and colleagues will then be able to donate to the Fund in any way they choose.

To help your tribute fund grow, Nightingale House will recognise certain tribute fund milestones:

  • When the fund reaches £1,500 a commemorative rose bush will be ordered in your loved ones name
  • When the fund reaches £5,000, a specially designed pebble will be inscribed with your loved ones name. This will be kept at the hospice in a designated water flowing pebble pool. A second pebble will also be ordered for you to keep in a place of your choice.
  • When the fund reaches £10,000 a tree will be planted in memory of your loved one at a community garden (or in a place of your choice).
  • When the fund reaches £20,000, a star will be named in memory of your loved one, as an everlasting tribute.

Create a Tribute Fund today for somebody you would like to remember and allow their legacy to live on.

Sometimes people want to remember a loved one by leaving a tribute fund, which is a very special way to honour the life of a loved one and help Nightingale House Hospice continue to care for others in need of our support. The fund will be named after their loved one; and family, friends and colleagues will then be able to donate to the fund in any way they choose.
