Group presenting a cheque

Since the hospice was founded some 15 years ago we have alway been able to depend on the loyal support of our Support Groups.

What is a Support Group?  - A support group is a network of local people who work together to help the hospice, they help by organising fundraising events, arranging and “manning” street collections in their local area and very often they will represent the hospice in the local community.  Our support group raise over £35,000 each year and make a positive financial contribution to our fundraising efforts
We have support groups in the following areas:

  • Mold and District
  • Buckley
  • Lavister
  • Rhos Hospice Shop
  • Llangollen
  • Corwen
  • Rhos Ladies
  • Coed y Glyn

Why don’t you set up a Group in your area?

You could form a small group with some friends and organise a number of small events or campaigns on a regular basis. You may possibly be supported by friends, family members or neighbours.

There is no need for a regular time commitment – you plan and organise your fundraising events to suit you.
