CHARITY SHOPS

Here at Nightingale House our Charity shops are the life blood of the local community, and the catalyst to successful fundraising. Our shops provide much needed funds so that the Hospices can continue to provide free specialist care to our patients who are living with life limiting illnesses such as cancer.

Our shops provide quality goods (clothes, furniture, electrical goods and bric-a-brac) and you really can pick up a bargain. They provide a base for eager volunteers of all ages to ‘give something back’ and to make life long friendships. Most importantly they form a bond between the charity and their local community.

DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

One of the most important elements in the success of the Nightingale House shops is the behind the scenes work that goes on in our Distribution Centre based on Rhosnesni Lane, Wrexham.   The Distribution Centre, managed by our the retail team and manned by our army of volunteers performs the vital service of receiving and sorting the vast majority of our donated items, before they are distributed out to the shops.

How to donate

We offer a free collection service for suitable donations of furniture or larger items.  Please telephone our Distribution Centre (01978 262 589)  to arrange an appointment for our drivers to visit you.

We are always grateful for the donation quality second-hand items including clothes, household items, toys, books, CDs and DVDs. Unfortunately we cannot collect these items but you can deliver them to the Hospice on Chester Road, any of our shops or to our Distribution Centre.
