About fundraising

It will cost £2.4 Million to run the hospice this year, this equates to around £6,600 per day. We will receive approx £440,000 (20%) from statutory sources. This is enough to fund the hospice for 67 days per year.

The remaining 298 days will need to funded through the work of our Income Generation team, which includes our Lottery, Shops and Fundraising Department. We therefore need to raise approximately £5,400 per day to keep our facilities open completely free of charge to patients and their families who desperately need our care and support.

How you can help

There are many different ways you can help us with our fundraising . You can attend an event, such as our 10 mile sponsored Ladies’ Midnight Walk, organise your own event for friends, colleagues and family to attend, save your pennies and unwanted change in your very own home money cube, get sponsored to do something challenging like a sky dive or marathon, dedicate a forget-me-not flower which will be planted in the Hospice garden, make a donation...the list is endless.
