Health professionals can refer patients to the specialist palliative care services at Nightingale House, the patient must be aware that the referral has been made and the patient’s General Practitioner should give consent for the referral to be made.

Where inpatient, medical outpatient or rehabiltative services such as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or therapeutic day care is requested a formal referral letter from the patient’s General Practitioner or a fully completed hospice referral form is required.
