9 months to 12 months Maternity Cover

Salary £16K - £18K – Depending on experience.

Nightingale House Hospice, in Wrexham provides specialist palliative care for people across a large catchment area, supporting individuals and their families living with a diagnosis of a life limiting condition.  The hospice provides holistic care of our patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs promoting quality of life throughout all the services we provide.

This year the hospice will have to raise in excess of £2 Million through its fundraising activities.

 We are looking for a Community and Events Fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to cover maternity leave.

 You will need to be a motivated and enthusiastic fundraiser – you will need the ability to work with and support members of the community with their fundraising activities as well as run a portfolio of hospice organised events that you will take responsibility for ensuring they hit the required income target.

 You will need to be well organised, committed and have excellent communication, administration and IT skills

 There will be a requirement to travel around the Hospice’s catchment area and to work some evenings and weekends a full driving licence is therefore required.
